36 July 2024 was a deeply painful month for Bangladesh. During this time, the country faced widespread curfews and shutdowns, including internet blackouts, transport suspensions, and even electricity cuts. We were disconnected from the rest of the world, and the impact was devastating. Tragically, we lost thousands of students, children, and innocent people, with many more injured due to clashes involving police, army, and political groups. Among those we lost were bright and talented students and innocent kids like Abu Sayed, Washim Akram, Mir Mugdho, Rudra Sen, Riya Gope, and many others. Their sacrifices will never be forgotten. This period was a stark reminder of the struggles our nation faced, and it left a lasting mark on all of us. We honor the lives lost and stand in solidarity with those affected. Let us remember their courage and work towards a brighter, more peaceful future.
